Compromising mechanical and electrical functions to reduce a products carbon footprint is an idea of the past. Sustainable energy solutions were a strong focus of Whiteside’s research during her time at Victoria University.  Whiteside endevours to create products which power themselves by using both forgotten and newly found technologies.

Whiteside designs unique furniture and lighting which enhances your environment and is sympathetic to the human form. Ergonomic and sensory testing is a vital part of Whiteside’s furniture development.

Whiteside has always had a passion for dance, performance design and stage management.   Whiteside enjoys working behind the scenes designing props, costumes, lighting and has designed a range of ergonomic products aimed to help performers move to the best of their ability.
